A single issue only has room for what we already know about by Wednesday night. The calendar doesn't have that limit — it's a running list we update as we find things, so something announced Tuesday can still make it onto your radar by Thursday. Same instinct as everything else here: unique events sorted by what they are, not dumped into one long scroll of things on everyone else's event lists.

The map keeps them straight for you — every place we've sent you since Issue No. 1, plotted and color-coded by what it actually is and what issue it's in, so when you're in Cardiff you can actually find that dive bar you meant to check out without digging through the archive.

Why We're Doing This

Here's the actual goal: we want The Sort to be something genuinely useful to North County, not just something you skim once a week. That means sending you to real spots worth your time. It also means sending more of you through the doors of businesses doing this place right — the ones without a marketing budget or a food blogger on retainer, just consistently good work. That part matters to us as much as the writing does.
